Our dedicated teams at Wall-Custance and The University of Guelph ask for and appreciate your understanding as we announce the replacement of this in-person event with a pre-recorded online ceremony. Past memorial forest ceremonies have garnered up to 2,500+ attendees which is neither safe at this time nor allowed.

You may visit the Arboretum on your own throughout the year and we encourage you to go for a walk, in a safe and distanced manner, as we have all become accustomed to doing.

Each and every tree listed under the 2019-2020 link has or will be planted throughout the 400-acre property. The 32nd Dedication Tree will be planted along the Wall-Custance Memorial Trail which symbolizes all of the individual memorial trees planted for this time period. At the Dedication Tree, a temporary plaque will be placed as in past years.

We will post an image of the plaque online for each family to view. There will be a window of opportunity for you to contact us for any changes or corrections before the names are engraved on the permanent plaque.
