Reardon’s Funeral Service was established by Terry and Judy Reardon on October 1, 1974. In the fall of 1983, they changed the name to Southland Funeral Chapel, reflecting their desire to ensure all of the local communities could feel they had support during time of loss.
After caring for the familier of Southorn Alberta together for forty years, Judy and Terry sold the funeral home to long time employees, Scott Barbour and Darryl Gensorek in Mark 2014. Both Scott and Darryl had privilege of working side by side with the Reardon’s for nearly a decade. providing them with insight, allowing then the ability to maintain the high level of personal service and to uphold the standards for community care instiolled by Judy and Terry.
