In 1955, Arthur, son of Hervé Trudel, at the service of the House since the age of 17, took over. A graduate of the Institut de thanatologie du Québec, in 1959 he bought the “Maison Nantel”, a heritage building, and established his business there. In 1978, Michel and Arthur Trudel undertook the expansion and renovation of the house while retaining its original architectural cachet. Today, the Trudel Funeral Home is a warm heritage building, carefully preserved and still imbued with all its history and nobility.
