In 1995 we recognized that families needed an option for a more streamlined funeral provider with a focus on immediate cremation and burial. Since then Steve Hosking, a graduate of the Western School of Funeral Service, and his dedicated team at Affordable Cremation & Burial have been serving families in the Lower Mainland for over 20 years. Our two locations have been entrusted by the Memorial Society of BC to serve their Lower Mainland and Southern Vancouver Island members.
We strive to offer inexpensive options, including the lowest simple cremation price on the Island, and great value such as providing complimentary online memorial pages. We are proud to be an independent funeral service provider who will never try to up-sell or pressure families. It was our desire to serve our families from beginning to end by establishing our own crematorium, that led us to open our Vancouver Island location.
